For dental, medical, chiropractic and therapy practices
New patients don’t call to ask if you’re taking any.
Intake and reminders, not phone tag.
Someone new in town looks up three practices before they ring one. What decides it is rarely the clinical detail — it’s whether the site answers the boring questions: are you taking patients, do you take my insurance, and how long until I’m seen.
How it usually goes
First
New in town. She looks up three practices before ringing one.
Then
Two of them say plainly whether they’re taking new patients. Yours doesn’t say.
So
She calls one of the two. You were never in the running.
The decision was made before anyone picked up a phone.

Where it leaks
Four things I see again and again.
Not a list of everything that could be better — the four that actually cost this trade money.
01
“Are you accepting new patients?”
The single most-asked question in the category, and most practice sites don’t answer it anywhere.
02
Insurance unanswered
If they can’t tell whether you take their plan, they call the practice that says so.
03
Intake done on the phone
Front desk time spent typing what a form could have collected before they arrived.
04
Every provider invisible but one
Multi-provider practices routinely name one doctor and leave the rest off the site entirely.
Where I’d start
Intake forms and reminders
Forms that collect what the front desk would otherwise chase, reminders that cut no-shows the day before, and the boring questions answered on the page so nobody has to ring to ask. Deliberately not a public booking calendar — most practices don’t want one, and I won’t build what doesn’t fit.
What goes into the build →And after that
The rest of the toolbox, when it fits.
One partner for the whole thing rather than five vendors — but only the parts that earn their place. And I work with one business per category in Klamath Falls, so I’m not building this for your competitor next month.

FAQ
Answered straight.
We’re not taking new patients right now.
Then the site should say so plainly — it saves your front desk the calls, and it keeps you findable for when that changes.
We don’t want online booking.
Good, and I won’t push it. Intake forms and a request-a-call flow suit most practices far better than a public calendar.
Is any of this a compliance problem?
Anything collecting patient detail needs handling properly. I’ll say plainly what a form can and can’t carry rather than guessing.
