For auto repair, glass, body and detail shops

They’re not calling around. They’re calling whoever answers.

A quote request that reaches you in the bay.

Somebody with a cracked windshield rings three shops on a Tuesday morning. Two go to voicemail because everyone’s under a car. The third picks up and gets the job — and it isn’t the best shop, it’s the reachable one.

How it usually goes

8:02am

Cracked windshield. She calls the first shop she finds.

8:04am

Second shop — voicemail. Everyone’s under a car.

8:06am

Third shop picks up and books the job. It wasn’t the best shop. It was the reachable one.

You never find out that job existed.

Where it leaks

Four things I see again and again.

Not a list of everything that could be better — the four that actually cost this trade money.

01

Known for one thing only

Most auto shops sell four or five services and rank for one. The higher-ticket work has nowhere to send people.

02

Voicemail at the busiest hour

You’re in the bay. The phone rings. That’s the job gone, and you never find out it existed.

03

No way to quote without talking

People want a ballpark before they commit to a conversation. Nowhere to ask means they ask someone else.

04

Insurance questions unanswered

Glass and body work live or die on “do you handle my insurance?” — and most sites don’t say.

Where I’d start

Quote requests that actually reach you

A form built for the question they’re really asking, landing as a text on your phone, with an automatic reply going back in seconds so you’re not the shop that went quiet. Every service gets its own page, so the work you’re not known for finally has somewhere to land.

How lead response works →

And after that

The rest of the toolbox, when it fits.

One partner for the whole thing rather than five vendors — but only the parts that earn their place. And I work with one business per category in Klamath Falls, so I’m not building this for your competitor next month.

FAQ

Answered straight.

I’m already busy. Why would I want more calls?

Then this is about the RIGHT calls, not more of them. Ranking for the higher-ticket work instead of the cheap stuff is a different job from turning the tap up.

I can’t answer my phone in the bay.

That’s exactly the point. An automatic text goes back the moment a request lands, so the customer knows they’ve been heard while you finish what you’re doing.

Do I need a whole new site?

Not always. Sometimes the fix is service pages and a working quote form on what you’ve already got. I tell you which before you pay me anything.
