Terms of Use
The terms for using this website and for Rise Local client notifications, the text-message program. Client service agreements are separate, month-to-month, and control if they say something different.

1. This website
riselocalgrowth.com describes what I do and shows work I've built. I keep it accurate, and I fix anything that isn't. Preview and demonstration sites linked from here are shown to illustrate the work; the businesses in them own their names, logos and photos. Reading this site doesn't create a client relationship, and nothing on it is a promise of a specific result for your business.
2. Working with me
If you become a client, the plan you sign governs the work: what's included, what it costs, and that it's month-to-month, cancelled any month, owing nothing further. Where that agreement and this page differ, the agreement wins.
3. Rise Local client notifications — the text-message program
Program name: Rise Local client notifications.
What it is: SMS/text messages from Rise Local to Rise Local clients who enrolled at riselocalgrowth.com/sms/. You'll get a real-time alert when a prospective customer submits a quote or contact form on the website I operate for you, and the occasional account or service notice about your Rise Local plan. Enrolling sends you one confirmation text.
Message frequency varies. It depends on how many leads your website gets.
Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's normal charges are yours.
Opt out: reply STOP to any message. You'll get one last text confirming you're unsubscribed, and nothing more. Help: reply HELP to any message, email steve@riselocalgrowth.com, or call (541) 238-5445.
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent is not a condition of buying anything. Every client gets lead emails whether or not they enroll for texts.
Privacy: how I handle your mobile number and consent is in the Privacy Policy. Your number and your consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
4. What's mine and what's yours
The words, design and code on this site are mine. Client names, logos and photos shown here belong to those clients and appear with their permission. Don't copy the site or pass its content off as your own.
5. No guarantees, plain limits
I don't guarantee any particular ranking, number of calls, or revenue from reading this site or using its tools, including the free Scorecard. Its numbers are read from public sources on the day they run and can change. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect losses that come from using this website. Nothing here limits what a signed client agreement says.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
7. Changes
If I change these terms, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
