What I collect when you use this site or a website I run for one of my clients, what I do with it, and what I don't do with it.

Who I am

Rise Local is me, Thuong "Steve" Vo, doing business as Rise Local, in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Email steve@riselocalgrowth.com, phone (541) 238-5445. This policy covers riselocalgrowth.com and the contact, quote and booking forms on the websites I build and operate for my clients.

What I collect

Only what you give me, plus basic website analytics.

• The contact form on this site — your name, business, email, phone number and message.
• The free Scorecard — your name, business, trade, city, website, email, phone number, and what you're trying to get done. That's what the assessment runs on, and where it gets sent.
• The chat on this site — what you type. The chat is an automated assistant: your messages go to Anthropic, the company behind Claude, to write the reply; I keep the conversation on my side for 60 days so I can read how it went; and your browser holds the last of it for 48 hours so the chat picks up where you left off. If you leave your details in the chat, they and the last few messages come to me.
• Forms on a client's website — when you send a quote or booking request on a site I operate for a business, that request (your name, phone, email and what you asked for) is stored so it can't get lost, then delivered to that business and to me. The business's own privacy policy applies too.
• Text-message enrollment — if you're a client and you enroll at riselocalgrowth.com/sms/: your mobile number, the consent you gave, and when and where you gave it.
• Basic analytics — through Google Analytics, which records things like which pages were visited and roughly where visitors came from. Traffic measurement, not identifying individual people.

What I use it for

To answer you. To run the Scorecard and send it to you. To deliver a lead to the business it belongs to. To do the marketing work a client hired me for, and to send the texts a client enrolled for. That's it.

What I don't do

• I don't sell your information.
• I don't rent or trade your contact details to marketers or lead brokers.
• I don't share your mobile number or your text-message consent with anyone for their marketing.

Who I do share it with

Only where it's needed to do the work or run the business:

• The business whose website you used. Your quote or booking request is theirs to answer.
• Service providers that run parts of my systems — the hosting and email delivery behind this site and my clients' sites, the form service behind the contact form and chat, the AI service that writes the chat's replies (Anthropic), Google Analytics, the push-notification relay that tells me and a client a lead just came in, and the text-messaging carrier service once texting is live. Each one handles the information only to provide that service to me.
• Where the law requires it.

Text messaging and your mobile information

How long I keep it

Contact and lead records for as long as I need them to serve you or the client, and to keep ordinary business records. Text-message consent records for as long as you're enrolled, and afterwards as the record that you consented. Chat conversations for 60 days.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure traffic. The chat widget saves a conversation id in your browser's storage. Most browsers let you block or delete both in their settings; blocking them won't stop you from using this site or getting a Scorecard.

Your choices

Ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email steve@riselocalgrowth.com or call (541) 238-5445 and I'll take care of it.

Children

This site isn't directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
